She received her veterinary degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She started Laursen Veterinary Service as a housecall practice in 2004 and opened the clinic in 2005. The practice was moved to its current location in 2014. Dr. Laursen met her husband while working as an associate veterinarian in Caro, MI. They have five children, two dogs, and 6 chickens! If she had time, Dr. Laursen would enjoy reading, traveling and gardening.
