    Dr. Laursen grew up in Stanton, Michigan and did her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, Lyman Briggs School of Science and Technology.

    Office Manager / Veterinary Technician

    Heather received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Michigan State University. She went on to complete Vet Tech school at Michigan State in 2001. She has worked for a number of veterinary practices including Bad Axe, Brown City, Bay Port, and Haslett. Eventually settling in at Laursen Veterinary Service in 2006.

  • Nicole Smith LVT
    Veterinary Technician

    Nicole loves to help keep our patients happy and healthy whether it be for a wellness visit or when they are sick. She graduated from Baker College in 2006. Nicole has two dogs, a koi pond, and enjoys feeding the wild birds in her yard.  When she isn't at the clinic helping to care for your furry family members, she  spends her time running, geocaching, hiking, reading, and watching MSU sports.

    Receptionist

    Julie started working at LVS in early 2015. She loves serving our clients as one of our receptionists. Julie is passionate about helping owners to have an amazing experience at LVS. She is a 2010 graduate of Cedarville University with a Business Management degree. Julie lives in Caro with her two beautiful children and husband, who is a youth pastor at First Baptist Church in Caro. Her 'free time' is devoted to the church and her family.

    Receptionist

    Linda lives in Sebewaing with her daughter Bailey. They are involved in Thumb Area Community Theater and are looking forward to Bailey's high school adventures!

  • Hannah Erbacher
    Receptionist

    Hannah loves working as one of our receptionists here at LVS. Her favorite part of her job is helping our fabulous clients and building relationships with her LVS team. She attended Northern Michigan University for two years studying in music. Her passion for music continues as she is apart of her church choir, TACT musicals, and has even performed in cathedrals in Poland and Austria with her college choir. She has 2 dogs: Steel (Siberian Husky) and Oliver (Malshipoo).

    Sawyer is from Fairgrove. He is a volunteer fire fighter for Fairgrove and works full time here at LVS helping us keep things moving.

  • Meagan Marshall
    Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

    Meagan lives in Fairgrove with her fiancé Hunter and their Rottweiler Ruger. Meagan enjoys working at LVS as a veterinary assistant helping any animal she can and assisting their owners up front as a receptionist. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to earn her vet tech degree. Outside of working with animals, Meagan loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as camping, hunting, and bowling. 

  • Michaela Dillon
    Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

    Michaela lives in Akron with her husband Steven and son Ben. They have two cats, two dogs, and a ball python. Michaela started working at LVS in the summer of 2021 as a receptionist and began training as a veterinary assistant in the fall of 2021. She enjoys helping animals on both sides of the clinic, whether it's making an appointment upfront in reception or helping with appointments and tasks in the back. 

  • Madi Fahrner
    Veterinary Assistant

    Madi works as a veterinary assistant at LVS. She loves making sure every patient is as comfortable as they can be during their stay, whether it's 5 minutes or 5 days. Madi is from Unionville and attended USA High School. She is currently attending ABC College to become a certified Veterinary Assistant. Madi comes from a family of seven, she has three older siblings and one younger sibling. Outside of work, she enjoys family time and being around the people she loves. Madi has a Blue Heeler named Xena and a cat named Jasper that she enjoys spending time with.
